Senior Software Developer
At Ireckonu, we take our job of developing quality high-performance scalable solutions for our partners very seriously, and have a great time doing so. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our family.
Together with the rest of the Ireckonu team you will be working on our core products as well as on new innovations that are completely transforming the Travel industry. From preparing new projects with the Architect and Team Lead, to obtaining information from the Sales and/or Project Management team, you will provide support and insight to both the development team, as well as the junior developers who will assist you.
All Ireckonu development takes place in an agile environment working with three core development approaches: Agile, Scrum and SOLID. The development department is built on the concept of teamwork without bureaucracy, and we pride ourselves on being hands-on across the board.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize fully abstracted applications for maximum speed and scalability both onprem and on Azure
- Continuously look for ways to improve Ireckonu and implement A/B tests
- Develop new modules on existing platforms
- Design the implementation of new complex modules
- Operate as 2nd line support on modules you have built
- Create specifications and define sprints with PMs and customers
- Mentor Junior Engineers through formal and informal discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, or as a consultant on projects
- Present solutions, not problems
About You:
- You have 5+ years of experience as super ninja senior C# developer
- You own the SOLID principles
- In the past two years, you have demonstrable experience working in production with the following
- C#
- EntityFramework
- .Net Core 2+ and/or .Net Framework 4.7+
- Azure cloud platform (Apps, databases, services, etc.)
- A Service Bus/Queuing framework (ASB, RabbitMQ, MassTransit, etc…)
- SOLID design principles
- You have gone to bed with C#, you wake up every day next to C#, and you don’t (well, rarely) cheat
- You have work experience with enterprise-scale applications, with complex data models, while slicing and dicing complex design problems
- You are able to extrapolate from incomplete data
- You do not do things manually more than once
- You are a team player - the plug that fits a blackhole
- You collaborate well with other team members and stakeholders from multiple different cultures
- Excellent reading and writing skills in English
