Created in 2014 by Jan Jaap van Roon, Ireckonu is a Dutch company committed to solving the challenges of the hospitality sector through technology and data. Building on Jan Jaap’s dedication to developing software solutions in order to drive change in a range of industries, Ireckonu provides tools for hotel management and guests alike, eliminating unnecessary time-consuming tasks for hotel staff, and offering a distinctly personalized digital experience for guests.

With degrees in Computer Science, Medicine, and Mathematics, Jan Jaap is a firm believer that IT should be the enabler to better facilitate company processes. From his early beginnings at Microsoft, to the start of Ireckonu, Jan Jaap set out to change how hoteliers view data while offering a worldclass Guest Experience Framework.

Since starting with Ireckonu in 2017, Hanna Schiller has worked on, sold, and delpoyed every facet of Ireckonu’s Framework. Coming from a hospitality technology background, Hanna works closely with our partners and team members to deliver the highest quality product available.

Working as financial officer for both Ireckon BV and Ireckonu, Bob is integral to every financial step of the process. On a micro-level, Bob is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. On a larger scale, he is directly responsible for company finance and forecasting, along with legal and deal analysis, strategic planning, and investor relationships.

Dennis is the Founder and Managing Member of Thyra Global, a private equity and venture capital firm based in New York City, with a satellite office in Palo Alto, which aims to invest in businesses that are redefining the technology, real estate, and consumer sectors. Thyra Global invests in founders, helping them grow technology their companies -- including Pager (healthcare), LaunchMetrics (influencer marketing), Livestream (media/broadcasting/camera), Awear (brand/consumer engagement), Wilton Payments (payments), Virtru (encryption), and Metawave (3D/HD radar for autonomous vehicles and 5G telecom). Thyra Global is also an active investor in income-producing assets (real estate and music publishing) through its Income Fund, as well as in fast-growing consumer brands in the food/beverage and wellness/beauty categories such as Revive Kombucha, Naturade and VeganSmart. Nick Price is the founder of NetSys Technology a software development and technology consulting company focussing on the hospitality and travel sectors. As part of his portfolio of responsibilities, Nick also held the post of CIO at citizenM (www.citizenM.com ), a happening Amsterdam NL based Hotel Company with global aspirations. Nick has worked with citizenM since early 2013 and is responsible for a large and growing set of digital technologies, including traditional IT. Prior to starting NetSys, Nick held the CIO post at Global luxury hotel brand Mandarin Oriental for twelve years where he was fortunate enough to participate in a significant global expansion of the company from its base in Hong Kong. Nick, a UK national, is an inductee in the HFTP (Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals) Hall of Fame, and a co-founder and past-president of HTNG (Hotel Technology Next Generation). In late 2016, Nick was elected to the Board of Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP). When not on a plane, Nick can be found at his homes in France or Hong Kong.

Over the past 30 years Michael has gained extensive experience in hotel operations having worked in the United States, South America, Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East starting out managing single units varying from corporate, to group and convention, to leisure and resorts hotels and later multi property responsibilities. For 18 years Michael formed part of the exec team of Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, where the companies 5 star service focused on guest satisfaction through motivated and well-trained employees. In early 1999 Michael joined the operational team of Golden Tulip and Krasnapolsky Hotels, where the joint board assigned him to lead the operational side of the merger. In late 2000 Michael joined SynXis, a central reservation system with onward distribution capabilities and setup the European office and rolled out the software to the hospitality industry for Europe / Middle East and Africa. From 2002 to 2004 Michael headed up the 65 hotels portfolio from Spain’s “NH Hoteles” (former Golden Tulip and Krasnapolsky Hotels), with a focus towards merging the local value proposition, while centralizing all support functions. In 2004 Michael partnered and started his own hotel management company and invested in single asset turnarounds. In 2005 as one of the founders of citizenM Michael is now dedicating 100% of his time to the operations of the company
